Required e-GMS and standard metadata elements

The DC tags in this example page are Dublin core identifiers. These are a standard for presenting metadata to search engines. This subset of the Dublin core specification is mandatory for government websites. More information about Dublin core: http://www.dublincore.org/

 

e-GMS tags are as specified in the e-Government Metadata Standard Version 3.0, e-GMS for Websites. Use of these ensures maximum consistency of metadata across public sector organisations.
