What is the Pupil Tracker?

The Lancashire Pupil Tracker is a web based* tool for schools across the UK, for the purpose of tracking the attainment of children from Early Years up to Year 6 of the revised National Curriculum. Users can also track children who are on PIVATS. The system features sophisticated analysis of the attainment and progress of tracked children.

How do I re-subscribe to the Pupil Tracker for next year?

The Pupil Tracker works on an automatic renewal basis. If you would not like to continue with the Pupil Tracker please let us know that you wish to opt out by 28 September of the renewal year.

How much does the Pupil Tracker cost?

In 2018/19 we have frozen prices. Prices range from £135 - £445 for an academic year subscription, dependent on phase(s) ordered and whether you are within Lancashire or external.

How do I pay for my subscription?

Payment is not accepted up-front for a Pupil Tracker subscription and must be paid once you have received the invoice. All payments should be made according to the back of the invoice and sent with the remittance advice. Any payments sent without invoice numbers will be returned.

Is there Pupil Tracker training available?

The Pupil Tracker has been designed to be an easy to use tracking tool, however there is Tracker training available to hone your skills. The latest training programme will be viewable by visiting www.lancashire.gov.uk/lpds and is usually available termly. We will be providing training for beginners to advanced users on using the system and interpreting the data.

What are the system requirements for me to access the Pupil Tracker Website?

A user must have a computer with a working internet connection. The online service has been optimised to run on Google Chrome v60 and Internet Explorer version 10 or above and is best viewed with a screen resolution of 800 x 600 or higher. The Pupil Tracker is also fully functional within Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox and Opera. It is advisable that users have access to a colour printer or multi functional product.
