Designated Parking

(Directors and Executive Directors)

Designated parking bays are available for nominated staff who are at a director, executive directors or CEO level. They are offered at the discretion of the county council and are available at the below sites. Only staff with a car parking permit that identifies them to be a designated parker should park in these bays. Any vehicles found in a designated parking bay not clearly displaying the correct permit will be asked to find alternative parking.

Designated parking bays are usually identified via a name plaque containing the name of the person authorised to park in that particular bay.

Bow Lane Car Park - 23 designated spaces
County Councillors car park - 10 designated spaces

Heads of Service Parking

Heads of Service (HoS) parking bays are available for Authorised Heads of Service staff. They are offered at the discretion of the county council and are available at the below sites. Only staff with a car parking permit that identifies them to be a HoS parker should park in these bays. Any vehicles found in a HoS parking bay not clearly displaying the correct permit will be asked to find alternative parking.

Arrangements on Full County Council Meeting and Full Conservative meeting days:

As was previous practice, Bow Lane car park is made available for county councillors when there is either a Full County Council or Full cabinet meeting. A staff notice is posted a couple of days before the meetings on the LCC intranet homepage, please keep an eye out for these.

Heads of Service bays will be unavailable at Bow Lane car park on those days with the exception of disabled, designated, CEO visitor bays and general visitor bays which are available as normal.
